When a powerful item goes missing from the Valley of the Magi, Hor-Nebwy has no choice but to summon outside help, namely Nalin Buchholz, code name Hobgoblin. Little does Hobgoblin or the Salt Mine know that the venerable keeper of the eternal sleepers requires Mau—the purloined mummified remains of a cat—to keep his bargain with Agent David Wilson, codename Fulcrum.
